The logic that a notice automatically proves copyright is as faulty as this movie. Ownership and copyright of works often changes. Incorrect notices are often the cause of a work going into public domain. Inaccurate advise is often the cause of a posters unnecessary concern.
It is best if a poster does their own research, posts only works THEY do not find to be copyright and let the yappers do their thing. Any valid takedown notice is obeyed by the Archive.
Just don't do what you know is wrong and sometimes contribute to the Archive.
